First, to write the cover letter or application letter for the Written Test for the DELE B2 and DELE C1 exams, you must start with the formal greeting.
This first step is very important. Remember that in Spanish, after the greetings we must include a colon and not a comma.
Then, at the beginning of the letter, you must identify yourself and communicate the reason for which you are writing, that is, what prompted you to write to a certain person or institution applying for, for example, a job, a scholarship or a place in the university or academy, among other purposes.
At this time you must also write and give details of the position you are applying for or what you are applying for, in addition to mentioning the source from which you heard about that offer or opportunity, specifying if you have heard it, for example, on the radio or have read it in the newspaper or on the Internet.
So, a correct way to start this letter would be to follow a structure similar to this: โI am contacting you based on the offer of... published in...โ. To learn more formats for writing your letter, I recommend that you sign up for my preparation courses https://aporeldele.com/cursos
You should keep in mind that this first paragraph of the letter is intended to let you know and specify the reason why you are writing.
In the next part there will be greater information density, since after the beginning, the body of the letter follows. The most common thing here is to mention your curricular, academic or work experiences.
Then, in the next paragraph, with humility and without being arrogant, you should mention your personal and professional abilities and abilities, as long as they are relevant to the purpose of the letter, highlighting your advantages and what you could bring.
Afterwards, you will have to write a closing letter, where you must clearly show your interest again so that they call you or give you a chance. Here, too, it's time to include a thank you dedicated to those who are reading you, making it clear that they can contact you at any time.
Finally, a letter includes a farewell formula, a formal greeting, such as โSincerely...โ or โBest regards...โ, followed by a comma and your full name.
